初心者英語の直し方
英会話 初心者の方が つまづきやすい ポイントを ピックアップ。

Pay – Up-Front Payment – 「お金を払う・支払う」
A. まず 基本は Pay + 金額です。
ex) I paid $10.
私は 10ドル支払いました
次に for + 購入した物です。
ex) I paid for a shirt.
シャツの支払いを済ませた
上の２つを 組み合わせると：
ex) I paid $10 for a shirt.
シャツのために 10ドル支払いました
上記 ３点の組み合わせが 基本ですが、Pay の後に 人 や 請求書 を付けることも出来ます。
□ pay + 人
ex) At the restaurant, I paid the cashier.
レストランで レジ係の人に 支払いをした
□ pay + 請求書
ex) I paid the telephone bill.
電話代の請求書の 支払いをした
