Entry-level Staff / Direct Report – 「部下・新入社員」 を英語で表現
A. Staff は集合名詞で、複数の従業員 を意味する時も、末尾に s はつけません。
人数を表す時は a staff member, two staff members のように member を用います
Staff – 集合名詞 の使い分け
１） 複数の staff が一つのまとまりとして 表現される場合 = The group is：
ex) Our staff is excellent.
= Our staff members are excellent.
２） 複数の staff の個々が 別々のものとして 表現される場合 = The individuals are:
ex) The staff are working on many different kinds of projects.

直属の部下 (the direct subordinate) は 主任 (the supervisor) に報告し、指示を仰ぐ
